Following the success of “Shop Online Must Be Tops Online Campaign”, the brand would like to introduce the strong image of “the Professional Picker” in the special collaboration with “Disney and Marvel Studios”. That was the moment a myth met grocery shopping, the Professional Picker was called for his new mission.
Budget wise, we fought for photography and videography at the same time, at the same pace to capture the essence of the story and win the digital funnel of media.
When “Thor: Love and Thunder” found the God of Thunder on a journey unlike anything he has ever encountered — Tops Professional Picker strengthened his great ability to serve a helpful service and to pick only the very best for every online order.
Our mission is to create an inspiring metaphorical journey of Tops Professional Picker through a detailed path of Tops Online’s order. The shooting was focused to ignite the freshest and fastest frame in parallel with Thor's action from the script to the framing technique.
Inspired by “Thor: Love and Thunder”, we really were excited to create Tops’ Professional Picker as a metaphorical hero like Thor in a memorable collaboration with Disney & Marvel Studios.
We went to two different locations, the supermarket and the chill room, to portray the Professional Picker’s journey and show the duty of many great people behind whom play a big part of an online shopping hero by using the parallel storytelling with Thor’s journey. It actually was fun but also quite challenging to shoot against time’s limitation and temperature conditions at 0-4 degrees.
To complete the extraordinary journey of the Professional Picker, our team used the Arri Alexa camera to tell the story visually and communicate its message through the best selected visual shots, and high-quality and smooth framing.
