Amazon Global Selling is an eCommerce program that allows sellers to trade internationally and expand their markets overseas. The program was founded in 2015 and recently opened doors for Thai entrepreneurs, specifically during the pandemic. With the aim to provide a convenient platform for businesses to sell on and grow their operations, Amazon Global Selling Thailand is identifying new opportunities for Thai SMEs to go global.
For years Amazon has conquered the online platform because of their exceptional customer experience, fast delivery and a wide range of products and services. In 2015, Amazon started a global selling program for e-commerce sellers, a platform that opens gates to new markets and makes it convenient for sellers to sell their products internationally.
Amazon reached out to us to help them increase their brand awareness of Amazon Global Selling in Thailand and to inspire Thai SMEs to go global. When COVID hit, there was a shift in consumer shopping behavior, amplifying online retail even more. Inspired by the COVID19 outbreak, our vision was to create a brand new narrative for Amazon Global Selling and deliver appealing messages to attract Thai sellers. We altered the story by bringing the impacts of the pandemic and the warmth of the Thai People together to empower Thai SMEs to take this window of opportunity.
With a swish of creativity and Sphere's personal touch, we chose to shine the spotlight on the Thai people and capture Thailand's vibrant nickname as the Land of Smiles. This led us to carefully craft our core message: "Bring Back Your Smile," Sell on Amazon (with Amazon Global Selling).
To encapsulate our tagline “Sell Good, Sell Goods, Sell Around the World on Amazon,” we wrote 3 episodes, funneling 3 key messages: Why Sell on Amazon, Easier to Grow Business, and One-Stop Service with FBA. Our team carefully crafted every detail, infusing humor and warmth to tell a story that resonates with the Thai audience. We brought elements of comfort and delight by illustrating real-life scenarios to differentiate Amazon Global Selling from the other brands, and form a deeper connection.
Our aim was to convey a story that not only encourages the Thai audience to Sell on Amazon Global Selling, but to mirror the reality of Thai businesses and create a sense of resonance. The father and son storyline perfectly captures themes of family and business, while perfusing our key messages with playful and illuminating elements.
Every color was meticulously chosen by our team to contribute to the comfort, heartwarming and nostalgic feel of a parent’s house. The contrast of colors also play a role in capturing the simplicity and warmth.
To breathe life into our vision, Sphere took care of the scriptwriting, scene design, background color, props, lights, movement, and the entire creative and production process.
We emphasize on creating a brand experience that is illuminating, effortless, delightful and relevant to our audience. To express the vibrancy of our core message, we wanted to capture the radiance and beaming faces of Amazon’s Top Sellers to encourage Thai SMEs to seize and embrace the opportunity to Go Global with Amazon.
We photographed real faces as our key visual with the intention to humanize Amazon Global Selling, share fascinating stories and make online selling feel more accessible. We weaved the heart of our message, “Bring Back Your Smile,” into our photography as a way to embolden the Thai audience to register for Amazon Global Selling.
Our work provides Amazon Global Selling Thailand with an exclusive selection of photos to select for any creative promotional content for both online & offline channels.
Drawing inspiration from Amazon’s Logo and its resemblance to a smile, we naturally gravitated towards warm colors. We featured yellow in all of our sets to represent and stir feelings of comfort and warmheartedness while keeping the shots clean, modern, and natural.
We adjusted the lighting in each scene to capture different times of the day. For instance, the light in the kitchen room, living room, and chess room were altered in its brightness to create visual impact and communicate the atmosphere. We also placed books such as “Invent & Wander,” and “Amazon: Unbound,” written by Jeff Bezos as props to represent the modernity of the family.
In helping us tell the story, our production team decided to use Arri Alexa mini to translate our storyboard into high-quality, cinematic visuals. The intrinsic quality of the Lens cooke s71 enhanced the clarity of our visuals, giving us a smooth and seamless look.
